The session starts at 1900 for an hour, but we would appreciate it if you were there for 18.40, this helps us sort out the admin and gives us the full hour for playing. In the summer months, we meet at RM Condor every Wednesday. In general, it’s aimed at the 50+ age group (there is no upper age limit), but we encourage those at 45+ who may have finished playing early due to injury or ill health to come along. It’s the one thing that most players say that they miss the most, there’s plenty of that. There is no membership and no pressure, just a bunch of guys who would probably never have had the opportunity to play again. Even if you still play, walking football is still a challenge and might even help improve your touch, it’s also a great way of getting fit. Still want to play football, but don’t have the same stamina and pace that you once had? Then walking football is ideal for you. No need to book, come along to a session and Just Play! From April to September at the ground on Cropston Road and during the winter at Martin High School in the sports hall. Walking Football runs every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The only differences are that the ball must not go over head height, there is no offside, we take kick ins instead of throw ins and one foot must stay on the floor at all times. Played on a smaller pitch with 5 to 7 players on each team it football, just without the running. It’s for anyone for whom the full speed game is just a little bit too much. So, if you used to play football but now find the pace a bit too much, or if you’ve never had the chance to be involved before, walking football is the perfect introduction to playing football for you. Our teams also take part in regular Festivals and we have teams entered in the National League for those who chose to play in a more competitive environment. It’s a great way to keep fit, learn skills, have fun and socialise at the same time! Walking football is designed to give you the chance to play the game you love but reduce the chances of injury. Played at Alloa, Stirling, Stenhousemuir and Bridge of Allan, you will receive a very warm welcome at all of these sessions. With regular, informal, playing sessions every weekday in locations across Forth Valley, it is easy to come along and enjoy this low-contact, slower version of the beautiful game. Walking Football Forth Valley – Walking Football Sessions have now restarted at Alloa, Dunblane (Bridge of Allan), Sauchie and at Stenhousemuir. Stirling play every Wednesday From 11am to noon, at the Peak in the Stirling Sports Village.
